Sad news for the community Bontang and East Kalimantan in general . Coach Marching Band Bontang PKT ( MBPKT ) Rene Conway who had served
for 21 years as a coach at Garden City , Wednesday ( 19/2 ) morning ,
died at his residence , CCP Complex in Jalan Housing Hebras PC 6 .
Hearing the sad news , Bontang Mayor Adi Hj Najirah Darma and his wife and son , Firza Agustia , immediately visited the hospital where the CCP Rene Conway 's body was interred . And previously , Vice Mayor Umarghani H Isro has also come first in the RS acc.
During his life , Rene Conway who was born on 9 April 1962 in the United States , has two children from his marriage to Tutik results , namely , Robert Conway ( 21 ) which currently has now settled in the United States and Ryan Conway ( 17 ) are still settling in Bontang .
Reney MBPKT Conway who has trained for 21 years has managed to deliver MBPKT won the Grand Prix Marching Band ( GPMB ) 10 times as many national and international awards among them , Sudler Shield Award in 1998 and the Band of the Year 2001 respectively of the World Association Show Bands and the World Association of Marching Bands .
Mayor Adi Darma said , Bontang people , especially the children who are members of MBPKT certainly miss the coach who has delivered many proteges players marching bands and reliable professional who also has inspired the making of the film 12 Minutes Victory for Forever .
" Bontang city government would be so sad. Goodbye Mr. Rene Conway , blessed and hopefully get a decent spot on the side of God Almighty . All your works will be recalled in the City Park . We have been abandoned by a friend , a friend and also a figure national marching band , " the mayor said .
Once buried in RS CCP , Rene Conway 's body yesterday afternoon released through the release ceremony by all members of the CCP GOR MBPKT in order to pay their last respects before being flown to Balikpapan to Jakarta , and then to the United States . Also present at the ceremony yesterday was the release of H Isro Umarghani Vice Mayor and the entire management of the Big Picture .
